Evaluation and Measurement of Mechanical Hazards-
The evaluation is the last step of the risk assessment in risk management process which includes the judgement to estimate the level of risk and the determination of the tolerance of risks. After completion of risk assessment process, if the evaluation step suggests to reduce the risk which is not tolerable, means the hierarchy of risk control must be followed. The designer of mechanical plants and equipment tries improving the machine and equipment characteristics by creating a gap between the moving objects to reduce the risk of trap including eliminate the sharp edge and limit the energy levels (velocity, mass, acceleration) or the drawing-in-force of moving parts of machine.
