Understand Mechanical Hazards-
An understanding of the form potential energy and kinetic energy relates to an understanding of hazards associated with mechanical equipment and plant. The injury or damage occurred when the transformation of intensity of energy exceed the energy threshold of the person or the damage (Payne, T 2012). Viner provides a framework in his energy damage model (Viner, D 1991) for understanding the hazards related to mechanical equipment and plants and forms of energy sources in the system.
Kinetic energy associated with mechanical hazards involves the objects in motion and the impact of the rotating objects are associated with the rotary objects collision in relates the motion each other (Payne, T 2012).
Potential Energy associated with mechanical hazards involves the stored energy including the objects under pressure or the things repulse one another and the susceptible unexpected sudden movement of the objects (Payne, T 2012).
